What is “New Vintage”?

How can something be both old and new? It sounds like an oxymoron. Well, the best way to describe it is like this: “New Vintage...a fresh perspective on timeless truth.” God has been around for a long time. His truth is unchanging. Since the dawn of time, men and women have given their lives to seeking and discovering all there is to know about Him, and when they find Him...their faith becomes timeless.

So where does the “new” come in? Well, times change, and so do cultures, societies and people. So the church must change with them if it is to be relevant. Although the core of our faith remains the same, how we apply it and live it out in our lives today must be re-thought and re-innovated. That’s where New Vintage comes in; we’re a present/future church that holds to an ancient faith. We realize the pathway to reaching people in today’s progressive and post-modern culture begins when we aren’t afraid to think differently and act radically with our faith. We want to grab hold of the ageless truths of the Christian faith and introduce them into into the train wreck of our society; where people that are hurting, struggling and living unfulfilled lives can find meaning, peace and hope.

We believe our culture must be fully engaged by the timeless message of Jesus Christ in a way that it can relate to. This is at the heart of who we are as a community of Christ-followers. Our goal is to make New Vintage a safe place to explore faith, enter into community, find love and encouragement, and experience life-change as we seek to know Jesus Christ more and journey through life together.
